County Durham Foodbank
Trussell foodbank run by the Durham Christian Partnership, with Durham city distribution points at Waddington Street and Gilesgate.
About County Durham Foodbank
County Durham Foodbank is run by the Durham Christian Partnership, a registered charity, and is part of the Trussell network. A central warehouse at Chester-le-Street supplies a network of distribution points across the county, where people referred to the foodbank can collect emergency food parcels.
In Durham city, distribution points operate from Waddington Street United Reformed Church near the railway station and from Durham City Baptist Church at Edge Court in Gilesgate. The foodbank depends on volunteers and on donations of food and money, and details of how to help are on its website.
