Durham City Physio

About Durham City Physio

Durham City Physio is a private physiotherapy and sports injury clinic on Old Elvet, right in the heart of the city just across Elvet Bridge from the Market Place. It offers hands-on physiotherapy alongside podiatry, treating everything from sports injuries and shoulder and knee problems to acute and chronic back pain and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Its central location makes it convenient for anyone living or working in the city, and it caters to office workers, students and sportspeople alike.

As a private clinic, appointments can usually be arranged quickly without a GP referral, which appeals to those wanting to be seen promptly for an injury or persistent pain. Treatment plans typically combine manual therapy with exercise-based rehabilitation to get people moving again. Fees, appointment availability and whether particular insurers are accepted are best confirmed directly with the clinic when you book.
