About Durham University Languages for All
Languages for All is the evening language programme run by Durham University's Centre for Foreign Language Study. Courses are open to members of the public as well as university students and staff, in up to 20 languages from beginner to higher advanced level.
Courses run as nine-week blocks with one two-hour evening class a week, with programmes starting in October, January and April. In most languages learners can choose between in-person and online study. External learners pay a higher rate than university members, so check the current fees when registering.
