About Elvet & Bailey
Elvet & Bailey is a gift shop in the Prince Bishops Place shopping centre in Durham, owned and operated by Creative Spaces Durham CIC, a social enterprise that reinvests its profits to benefit the community. The shop stocks locally produced, handmade and ethically sourced gifts drawn from a growing community of more than 40 artists, crafters and makers, and offers a click-and-collect service.
Alongside the shop, the business runs a small creative space upstairs for workshops and crafting, with the aim of supporting small-scale creative businesses and giving people of all ages and abilities the chance to develop craft skills. It is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, and can be contacted by phone or email.
