Kumon Durham
Kumon maths and English study centre for children of all ages, meeting at St John's Church Hall in Neville's Cross.
About Kumon Durham
Kumon Durham is the city's branch of the worldwide Kumon maths and English programme, meeting at St John's Church Hall on Crossgate Peth in Neville's Cross. Classes run between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and between 9am and noon on Saturdays, with children attending up to twice a week for guidance from the Instructor.
The Kumon method is built around short daily worksheets completed at home, with a typical study session of around 30 minutes per subject. Students can study at the centre or online, and the centre offers Kumon Connect, the digital version of the programme. Fees are charged per subject per month, so check the centre's Kumon page for current prices.
