St Antony's Priory
A house of the Society of the Sacred Mission on Claypath, offering quiet days, spiritual direction and space for groups as a centre for ecumenical spirituality.
About St Antony's Priory
St Antony's Priory is a house of the Society of the Sacred Mission, an Anglican religious community, at the top of Claypath in Durham city centre. It works as a centre for ecumenical spirituality, welcoming people of any faith tradition or none who want time for reflection, prayer and stillness.
The Priory runs a spirituality programme of quiet days, usually from about 10am to 3pm, which mix guided reflection with silence, and it offers spiritual direction and hosts visiting groups. Quiet days are booked in advance through the Priory's programme, with pay-what-you-can places offered to those in hardship. Contact the Priory for current dates.
