Formed in Washington State in 1997 and fronted by Ben Gibbard, Death Cab for Cutie are one of American indie rock's most enduring bands, known for songs such as I Will Follow You into the Dark and Soul Meets Body. They bring their literate, melodic sound to the main hall of the Glasshouse on the Gateshead quayside.
