About This Event
Durham Book Festival runs from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026, produced by New Writing North and held in and around Durham city. The programme features author talks, writing masterclasses, poetry, live podcast recordings and newly commissioned work, with events taking place at venues across the city centre. Individual events are ticketed, with prices varying by event; the full programme and booking are published on the New Writing North website. It is one of the region's leading literary events and a highlight of the autumn calendar.
