Christmas Tree Festival 2026 at Durham Cathedral
A trail of Christmas trees through the Cathedral Cloisters, each decorated by a local organisation and telling its own story.
About This Event
The Cathedral Cloisters fill with a colourful display of Christmas trees for the festive season, each one dressed by a local organisation to tell its own story. The festival is designed to bring light, colour and a welcoming, reflective space to Durham through the winter. It runs during the Cathedral's normal opening hours. There is no entry fee, though visitors who can are encouraged to donate £5 each towards the Cathedral's conservation.
