About This Event

Gibside's half-term Halloween trail sends families on a spooky adventure through nature, uncovering fun and freaky facts, from giant dragonflies of the past to plants that trap flies. The trail sheet is collected from Visitor Reception and takes up to two hours to complete at your own pace. Companion ranger-led activities run through the week, including meeting a bat and nature crafts. The trail runs across the October half-term week, from 24 October to 1 November 2026. The trail itself is free, though normal admission charges apply to the estate and National Trust members enter free.
