About This Event
Langley Castle is a genuine 14th-century fortified castle near Hexham in the South Tyne valley, close to Hadrian's Wall in the Northumberland countryside. Seven-foot-thick walls, spiral stairs and an intimate, candle-lit atmosphere make it one of the region's most distinctive fairytale wedding venues, complete with the award-winning Josephine Restaurant and drawing room within its stone-built interiors. Beyond the castle walls, gardens and woodland offer settings for outdoor ceremonies. The showcase invites couples to explore these beautifully dressed wedding spaces in person, tour the ceremony and reception rooms, walk the grounds and meet the castle's experienced wedding team. Entry is free with a complimentary drink on arrival. It is the ideal way to sense the scale and character of a medieval castle wedding, and to see how the historic rooms adapt to a couple's own style before committing to a date.
