About This Event

Skiffle band Hop, Skiffle and Jump play in the 1950s Town Welfare Hall from 12 noon to 1pm, celebrating the do-it-yourself music that gave young people the chance to make their own sound on cheap acoustic instruments. The Uke Club follows from 1:15pm to 2pm; bring your own ukulele if you can, though the museum has one or two to lend. Free with a Beamish Unlimited Pass.
