The Glasshouse marks Steve Reich's 90th birthday with a three-day festival curated by percussionist Colin Currie and hosted by Tom Service, with the Colin Currie Group, Bryce Dessner, Royal Northern Sinfonia and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Several strands are free: talks, a performance of Mallet Quartet on 3 October, Music for Mallet Instruments, Voices and Organ on 4 October, and the immersive installation Phase, Pattern, Pulse across both days. Ticketed concerts carry a 15 per cent discount for three and 20 per cent for four or more.
