The Snowman in Concert at The Glasshouse
Royal Northern Sinfonia plays Howard Blake's score live to The Snowman, paired with a musical We're Going on a Bear Hunt, over four performances on 23 and 24 December.
About This Event
A festive family favourite: the first half is a musical telling of We're Going on a Bear Hunt, and after the interval The Snowman plays on the big screen with Royal Northern Sinfonia performing Howard Blake's soundtrack live under Ellie Slorach. A young singer from the North East performs Walking in the Air. Performances are at 2pm (a relaxed, BSL-interpreted 60-minute show) and 5pm on Wednesday 23 December, and 11am and 2pm on Christmas Eve. Standard performances run for 90 minutes including an interval. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
