About This Event
Carrot Productions, the world's leading performers of The Snowman with live orchestra, bring their festive show to Durham Cathedral. The classic animated film is screened on the big screen while a live orchestra performs its score, including the much-loved Walking in the Air, which the whole audience is invited to sing along to at the end. Each performance also features a bonus screening of Peter and the Wolf and a visit from the Snowman himself. With a festive introduction to the orchestra for younger listeners, it is aimed squarely at families and children. The show takes place on Saturday 5 December 2026 from 3:30 PM, with family ticket options available.
