Father Christmas Experience at Bamburgh Castle
A personal, magical meeting with Father Christmas in the grand setting of Bamburgh Castle, with an exclusive gift for every child. Runs through the festive season to 22 December.
About This Event
Bamburgh Castle hosts its Father Christmas Experience throughout the festive season in 2026, running from 28 November to 22 December. Each child enjoys a personal, magical meeting with Father Christmas and receives a special gift exclusive to Bamburgh Castle, all within the dramatic coastal surroundings of one of England's most iconic castles. Grotto tickets are £19.95 per child. A valid child castle admission ticket is required in addition to the grotto ticket, and all accompanying adults and teenagers must also hold valid castle admission tickets. The experience operates daily between 10.30am and 4pm during its run. Tickets must be booked in advance online and the experience is very popular, so early booking is strongly recommended. The Father Christmas Experience can be combined with the castle's wider festive programme, including the indoor A Christmas Carousel installation.
