Spennymoor Fireworks Extravaganza
A free town display on Bonfire Night itself, with a new flame show alongside the fireworks. Tickets are free but must be collected in person.

Spennymoor Town Council holds its display on 5 November itself, which is worth noting because most County Durham displays move to the nearest weekend. The field opens at 5pm and the fireworks go up at 6.30pm, paired with a flame show that is new for this year, with the evening finishing at 8pm.\n\nEntry is free but ticketed, and the tickets are not online. They are collected in person from Spennymoor Town Hall reception from Monday 12 October, weekdays 9am to 4pm, and you need proof of address. There is a limit of six per family. Any tickets left after 26 October are released to people living outside the town.\n\nIf you are travelling in from outside Spennymoor, that late-October release is the date to watch.
