Cafédral is a small, family-run cafe near the top of Saddler Street, just before the cathedral, reached by a set of stairs up from pavement level. Its eclectic, characterful style and elevated position give it a distinctive feel, and it is a familiar stop for visitors making their way up to Palace Green and the peninsula.

The cafe is known locally for its homemade scones, made fresh each day, along with hot chocolates and a range of coffees and light bites. The intimate setting and welcoming, independent character have earned it a steady following among both locals and cathedral visitors. The upstairs approach means it is best suited to those able to manage the stairs.
