La Spaghettata has been a fixture on Saddler Street since 1996, which makes it Durham's longest-running independent Italian restaurant, and it remains a family-owned favourite known for a warm, lively atmosphere. Spread across the upper floors of the historic street between the Market Place and the cathedral, it serves a broad menu of pasta, pizza and classic Italian mains at fair prices, with the buzz of a proper neighbourhood trattoria on a busy night.
