About Split & Glory Ice Cream Parlour
Split & Glory is an American-style ice cream parlour and milkshake bar on the top floor above Chapters Tea Rooms on Elvet Bridge, right in the heart of the old city over the river. The retro fit-out, complete with a jukebox, black-and-white tiles and red leather booths, makes it a fun spot to linger over a scoop, with gelato, towering sundaes, milkshakes and other sweet concoctions on the menu. It is a popular treat with families and students alike.
The central Elvet Bridge location is a couple of minutes from the Market Place and the riverside walks, so it works well as a reward at the end of a wander round town. As with any small parlour, it is worth checking opening hours, which can be shorter in winter.
