Taylor's Butchers
Award-winning family butcher on Front Street in Framwellgate Moor, trading since 1922 and open Monday to Saturday.
About Taylor's Butchers
Taylor's Butchers is a family-run shop on Front Street in Framwellgate Moor, just north of Durham city centre, that has been trading since 1922. Generations of the same family have kept the counter stocked with everyday cuts, homemade sausages, prepared joints and seasonal specials, all cut and trimmed to order by staff happy to advise on what to buy and how to cook it.
Open Monday to Saturday, the shop is a convenient stop for a weekend roast or a mid-week order, and will bone and roll joints or set produce aside for special occasions. Its longevity and award-winning reputation reflect a consistent commitment to quality and service that keeps local customers returning year after year.
