Adventure Valley
Family farm and adventure park on Durham's northern outskirts, home to one of the North East's largest indoor soft play structures plus outdoor play and animals.
About Adventure Valley
Adventure Valley occupies Union Hall Farm at Brasside, on the rural northern edge of Durham and an easy drive from the city. It is one of the region's biggest family days out, combining farm animals, outdoor adventure play, gardens and rides with its headline indoor attraction, the Giant Play Town, a three-storey, 18,000-square-foot soft play structure of climbing frames, rope walks, tunnels and slides that is among the largest indoor soft play experiences in the North East. The multi-level design suits toddlers on the lower sections through to older children higher up.
It is aimed broadly at families with children from around two to twelve, opens from 10am daily with last admission an hour before closing, and its indoor play makes it a reliable wet-weather option as well as a summer day out. There is on-site parking and catering. As a paid attraction, admission prices and seasonal opening vary, so check the latest details before you visit.
