About Bertie's Play Village
Bertie's Play Village is an indoor soft play centre right in the heart of Durham, tucked inside the Prince Bishops Place shopping centre a couple of minutes from the market place. It is aimed at children from babies up to around eight years old, with a soft play frame for older toddlers and a separate sensory-focused baby zone so the youngest visitors can join in safely. Its central location makes it an easy stop to break up a day's shopping or sightseeing, especially when the weather turns.
It runs as a straightforward stay-and-play with no need to book, charging by the half-hour or hour with accompanying adults going free, which makes it a low-cost rainy-day option for local families.
