It is the county's highest-rated AA four-star hotel and best known locally for The Spa at Ramside, an award-winning destination spa with several pools, including hydrotherapy and infinity pools, a sophisticated thermal suite and a full menu of treatments, which can be enjoyed on a spa day as well as by hotel guests. Alongside the spa it has two golf courses, a gym and a choice of restaurants.
